Well, today brought a rather, awkwardly... large bunch of coins. I must say this year has started off very well!
Excellent!

Of your Chinese one jiao coins I don't have 2009 and 2010, and I've been living in China for years. 2001 and 2014 are the main years I get here.

A new week means a new round at the market. A little bit came along today, but not as much as last week.

1 Euro Cent, Spain 2003
2 Euro Cents, Greece 2002 & Estonia 2011
5 Euro Cents, Spain 2000, Finland 2001, Greece 2002 & Germany 2009-J

10 Euro Cents, France 2001
10 Pence, UK 2016
1 Dirham, Morocco 1965 & 2002
2 Dirhams, Morocco 2002 (x2)

1 Dime, US 1994-P
50 Øre, Norway 1996
1 Krone, Norway 1998 & 2000
10 Öre, Sweden 1950
1 Krona, Sweden 2000
5 Schilling, Austria 1969

5 Cents, Cyprus 1985 & 2004
50 Cents, Cyprus 1996
10 Rubles, Russia 2010
1 Dollar, Singapore 1989

All for 20 kr. I like the Cypriot 50c, reminds an awful lot of the UK 50p, I'm also quite confused as to why Morocco decided not to continue the 2 Dirham denomination which they first issued in 2002. The latest series doesn't have a 2 Dirham coin.

Is the 10 rubles coin Moscow mint or Saint-Petersburg mint?

I can't quite figure it out from the photo, but it looks like Moscow (which happens to be more common). IIRC, 2010 is the only year for Saint-Petersburg.

All of them cannot be grand scores, but that group is still quite nice.

Also on one of the previous lots you purchased, the one with all of he holed coins. I have seen some really neat displays made using a shadow box and push pins to display them! I still use my typical 2x2 flips. But I am planning on making a eye catching display sometime soon using some more common holed coins.

This thread is certainly getting long and you have gotten a LOT of coins. Do you display them? I would think you have enough you could put them all in 2X2 holders and wallpaper your walls! My brother actually did something like that years ago when the first Star Wars movie came out. His one bedroom wall was wallpapered, top to bottom, with Star Wars cards!

Well, I've taken a little break, but this week I am back again!

My favourite seller brough with him another lot of what at first glance looked to be simply dull brown copper coins, but underneath (and among) them were a few interesting pieces.

Unfortunately I still have computer-memory card issues so I will post pics tomorrow. Here's what I got in written form:

50 Öre, Sweden 1993 (rare date!)
1 Krona, Sweden 2008 & 2016 (x5)

2 Kronor, Sweden 2016
2 Baht, Thailand 2018
2 Kroner, Denmark 2001
1 Dollar, Hong Kong 1995
2 Dollars, Hong Kong 1995 & 1998

100 Forint, Hungary 1998
10 Bath, Thailand (x2)
½ Sheqel, Israel
10 Rubles, Russia 2014 (bimetallic - Saratov Oblast)
5000 Rial, Iran (1392)

50 Öre, Sweden (x174)

£3.11 and 13 US pennies

€1.71 in 2c and 5c

A nice find for 50 kr. Immediate partial payback in some small change, 7 kr, and lots of 5 Euro Cents. The irony, if there is one, is that I recently came home from a trip to the Eurozone where I had brought another sizeable lot of 5c to exchange. But, I am particularily pleased with the most recent Thai 2 Baht - at this rate I might get the full series soon!

Not particularily. A few exceptional ones make it into my albums, but most go in my country-specific sortment, currency bags or the 'scrap box', for coins that are overflowing and only worth their scrap value. A good examplification of this is the 174 50 öre coins, all in bronze, that were demonetised a few years ago and are now flooding junk lots, aswell as my 'scrap box'.
