Unfortunately I couldn't make it to this newly-found market yesterday due to the fact that I was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. To make up for this, I made it to their Central market, but unfortunately there was little of interest to find there (there were coins, but interest is a factor of an item of interest and price...). So, unfortunately nothing else to report for this week.

Nice coins. Is there a plan to get all these new coins back home or is this your permanent location?

I will make it back home eventually, so these coins will be united with the rest waiting at home-home. Though I must say Singapore is not so bad, so I don't mind the long-stay here

Andreas, I hope you're taking precautions, being around all those people in the markets. What's the coronavirus situation in Singapore and Malaysia? A cruise ship in Fremantle has just cancelled it's trip to Singapore.

Steve :)

No need to worry about this pesky virus from my side - Singapore is doing great work against it! At the time of writing the situation is quite calm, but of course there are ripples worldwide unfortunately.

50 Sen, Indonesia 1957
10 Rupiah, Indonesia 1974

1 Sentimo, Philippines 1974
1 Piso, Philippines 1978
10 Won, South Korea 2017
10 Kroner, Norway 1996
1 Naira, Nigeria 1991
1 Pataca, Macau 1982
2 Pai, India-Hyderabad 1920 (AH 1348-Yr 9)

1 Sen, Brunei 1967
5 Sen, Brunei 1996
1 Cent, Malaya 1940
5 Cents, Malaya 1939
10 Cents, Straits Settlements 1881, 1918 (x2) & 1926
25 Öre, Sweden 1953

$24 worth and another presumably fake big "silver". While the other piece was actually quite terrible, this one is more convincing, and while I'd prefer a real one, this will still make for a nice addition.

Good to hear from you Andreas, I was beginning to
wonder if the virus had got you.
Nice selection of coins this week. I hope you're

As much as the world (as I know it) appears to be in peril, the situation in Singapore is considerably better. With very few new local cases, it seems like Singapore is one of the last parts of the world where life goes on as usual! I hope the rest of you aren't having it too tough right now!
