These are really remarkable results.

I used to look at a lot of these back in the early '70's and saw most of these in about the same proportions. There were a lot fewer foreign coins and a few more War Nickels. I'm most surprised by how few of the '51-S's you found. It's also a little surprising you've found so many '38's.

Interesting you mention the 51s - just added another one in the above post; now have found 2! And I am also surprised by the number of 1938's, but I haven't found any for a few weeks now. I have one more update to post.

Hi graceoutcast!

I don't have a working digital camera at the moment, but let me try to rustle up a scan of it.

It's from Thailand. ...Quite modern and probably common.

Sorry Cladking, I fell asleep!

Thanks for the answer; I'll research to find out the name of their basic denomination, because the coin is probably some multiple of that. Might be modern and common, but found in a roll of nickels in America's heartland; it's very unusual!

Thailand coins are a special headache..

I think it's a 2547 (aka 2004) 1 Baht. Might want to get a second confirmation from someone more knowledgable than me.
