Meet my baby Maundy penny from 1857 - it is my smallest coin.
It is 11mm in size and weighs 0.43 of a gram - the larger coin is an old style copper farthing from 1843. This coin itself is the size of a nickel.
For our American friends, the coin is the size of a gold quarter and weighs about 0.015 of an ounce and is under half an inch in size.
Even more bizarre, is the penny is clearly worn and must have circulated (F15/VF20?) which is strange for a Maundy coin with a mintage of 7000.
Loving Halfcrowns. British and Commonwealth coins 1750 - 1950 and anything Kiwi.
If it's round, shiny and silvery I will love it.
