This is a small slab, 2 3/4 high and 2 1/8 wide. So the same height as a Accugrade, but a little wider. Hard clear plastic, sonically sealed. Two separate compartments, one for the label and one for the coin. With a square hard(?) white plastic coin insert.

Visually it looks like the NuGrade family of slabs, but it's smaller.

Anybody heard of them?

I can't say that nickel looks MS66 to me. To the right of the mintmark in the field is a pretty big distraction and the jaw looks like he cut himself shaving and bled on the collar.

Try surfing the name.
If it doesn't show then it's definitely not legit.
And if it DOES show that still doesn't make it real.

the reverse of the slab tells everything, I think... 'Rare coin grading and pricing ARE subjective'.. That speaks volumes to me at least...

Won't comment about the grade, but if that tilted coin in the ugly white holder and a damaged label are any indication, these folks won't be around long.

There was a Fleur De Coin may years ago (pre-bar code era) but I don't believe they ever actually got around to producing any slabs. This one has the look of a modern basement type slabber so it is probably not the same company

Not -that- new, the 2006 trademark filing http://tsdr.uspto.gov/documentviewe...ex=5&page=1) looks pretty similar:

Looks like something from Quebec, but a case where the slab might be worth more than the nickel
