I am selling some of my slabbed coins off and I thought my first one would be my 1897s Barber half dollar NGC graded vf 35. I'm asking $925. I cannot post pictures on this forum any longer so if you're serious I can either text or email pictures to you.

Wow, that's a lot of money for a Barber half in VF. Is that date rare? I remember years ago I answered an ad from a guy selling a Fine condition 1909-O for $4 in the newspaper. This was in the old days where a Fine would still have a full "Liberty".

1897-S is a semi-key date, tough to find in VF-XF
Also 1909's are often overgraded because "LIBERTY" is very strong, even the O mint (which overall are weakly struck), so you have to look at the rest of the coin, especially reverse feathers.
