@Earle42 I never thought of it like that, so I would have to say it just happened. Oh, and remember the 'Man in the Moon' isn't really there, but it's a perfect example of Pareidolia! There is a hidden joke in the barcode. If you scan it gives you a secret message that really could appear on ALL US coins. If no one replies with the message, I'll reveal it in a couple of days.

Yokozuna, not only is the barcode reveal funny just under the bottom of the code, it appears to say "Made in China" as well.

Is it just me or does the reverse of that "moon" design look an awful lot like a pepperoni pizza?

Yes, the reverse is supposed to represent a nice pepperoni pizza. @westcoin You have a good eye! Yep, I put a footnote under the barcode saying *MADE IN China but I did this Photoshop image so long ago that I completely forgot about it. It's only half there on the image above because I reduced the quality of the image to make it smaller for the CCF. Here's an enlargement of that area. If anyone has a Photoshop they'd like to have made, just let me know by email. I'd be glad to give it a try for you. I'm a bit rusty, but I love the challenge.

Yokozuna, you piqued my curiosity with your pizza coin, and I found the following Pizza Pi coin from Shire Mint. They also make a "Pizzas of 8" coin.
