Crypto obsession is gonna climb the charts over the next few years. Quote: BTW, I looked it up so you don't have to: LARPing is Live Action Role Playing. I already knew what it was. Not from personal experience, but exposure from some past coworkers.

I will be the negative one here. The John WIlkes Booth penny...my how time passing changes public perception and softens the blow of such a heinous crime by such a villainous person demented enough in his own time to commit this murder. If we could bring back most people from that era and let them see this is the type of humor in 2025, those people would wonder if the cause was all worth it or not.
Yeah, I take patriotism seriously. I also understand that I make mistakes myself and sometimes have been desensitized to things that I should not have been desensitized to. So please, no one take this as me judging them personally. I am not. I just find it sad sometimes what our society does without really thinking about it. I bet someone proudly knowing they are a descendent of President Lincoln would feel the same way I do.
I actually find the last line of that article very offensive against one of the US's most beloved president's and honorable historical figures. I bet he would too as should all who benefited from the rulings in his time in office.

Not sure where else to post this, but there was a report on BBC television this morning to state that over the past few years, with the declining use of cash, there has been a big drop in the number of... children swallowing coins! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr52g1pjznno

Thank you for this. Yes , that was obvious to me. My comment was made about the fact it is demeaning to the memory of such a prominent and well-loved president of the United States to even come up with something like this. This was a real man, with a real family, with real descendants proud of who they are, and that man had his life taken away by a deranged assassin (I have read sources and books concerning this before). I will guarantee anyone closer to that time of the event would see this article, even as satire, as being horrific and a display of the insensitivity modern society can have in light of the reality of what murder, and especially the assassination of such a beloved figure in history, is outside of on the screen where we modern society tends to get desensitized to it. The things we casually accept and even chuckle over nowadays were the things of nightmares for my fathers and grandparents generation. WHile it may seem an old fashioned mindset, back when society was not so desensitized, kids were not being shot by their peers in schools and violent crime was a lot less prevalent overall (key word).

westcoin, that is ~40 pounds of pure hilarity ! I'm afraid it won't fit in any of my albums, though. On the other hand, what a great way to stay strong and fit! I hope y'all caught the humor in the green sticker.
