Ok sweeet!

As I recall, previous contests have included the smallest coins (which turned out to be gold) and, more recently, the smallest copper coins. Therefore, this contest is for the smallest diameter silver (51% or higher purity) coin. Only circulating coins please. For your pics, no need for a rule or reference item, but please list the diameter in your post. Excessively worn or shaved coins are not ok. I'll try to find one of my best later today.

This is the coin I considered posting in the last contest. I did make a scale pic, but it didn't arrive in time, and I had enough other things on my mind that I didn't really feel like resending it.



Kyzikos hemiobol, 5th century BC. 9 mm, 0.34 grams.

Ancient coins can get way tinier than that; here is a particularly small one (not mine, alas).
