I did count the leaves on my coins.

The dollar had 58 and the cent 37. It was clearly listed on my post, why this is such a controversy is beyond me.

I have plenty of other conventional leaf coins if we are going to get all pernickety about it.
Loving Halfcrowns. British and Commonwealth coins 1750 - 1950 and anything Kiwi.
If it's round, shiny and silvery I will love it.

@Princetane, each of the 58 leaflets has sub-leaflets-or so it seems to me. If we ignore those then we can easily count 58. If we count the sub-leaflets then it becomes a more difficult counting process.
