Thanks! I was just about to start writing

Numista 167193 (the linked page shows a much better example)

3 points for a coin featuring Santa Claus (and/or a similar character, such as Grandfather Frost)
10 points for a coin featuring (and/or from the reign of) someone named Vespasian(o)
5 points for a coin featuring (and/or from the reign of) someone named for a Roman emperor (other than Vespasian)
3 points for a coin featuring (and/or from the reign of) an actual Roman emperor* (other than Vespasian, who gets 10)
10 points for a coin from Sabbioneta
5 points for a coin from any other Italian state
2 points for a coin from unified Italy (or any other country containing all or most of Italy)
In all cases tokens, medals, and other similar numismatic items (if applicable) are also accepted.
I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of coin will win! (I'm not actually sure, though I have my suspicions.)
*) I hadn't yet decided what to do with the (fairly frequent) case of Roman emperors named for
other Roman emperors. I think I would probably count them for 5 points (as opposed to 3 or 8), but I'm not yet sure, and could be persuaded otherwise.
