( I know its a 4 year old thread).
At the beginning of Covid, I was doing the Canadian Large cents, 3 packages said delivered and weren't. I got them a few days later. The first package was delivered to the wrong address, FEDEX went and picked it up and delivered. The other 2 were USPS, in both cases I got the package a few days later, the USPS scanned it delivered when he should have scanned unable to deliver/reschedule. My regular mail carrier was out both days and she informed me that they were shortstaffed so many times the packages staying in the mail car until they could deliver it. Since I am at the end of the route (western most part of town), I am usually the last one to get my packages. Since everyone in my section complained, they now moved us up to the middle of delivery but they also have a much lower package volumn, mail is still much longer than precovid, but no more "Delivered" without being delivered. It might stay "Out for Delivery" for 2 days. Best advice I can give is take care of your regular mail carrier they will make sure you get your mail.
