Can anyone tell me if this is something special? It has a strong yellowish color which stood out from the rest of the cents I had. Thanks in advanced!!

Nothing unusual, just a slight alloy mix problem, adding more zinc/tin to the copper ally plating mix will do that.

If it were BU it might be a keeper. But they do stand out in a bowl of change.
