Republic of Zurich, Taler, 1745. On the reverse, a view of the old town (Altstadt) of Zurich with the Limmat river right in the middle. Lord, keep us at peace.

Lion and Unicorn on a 2013 British 50 pence: This was an unadopted design by Christopher Ironside (1913-1992), who designed the original reverses of Britain's decimal coins introduced between 1968 and 1971. The design was finally used in 2013 to commemorate the centenary of Ironside's birth.
