Picked this up for $283. Pics were small and blown up aren't great. Thoughts on grade and problems? Thanks!

Just the cleaning, A lot of these had planchet issues which is what I believe is around the "U.S" Looks to be VF-30. Going to subscribe to this and wait for better pics once you get her in hand :)

This coin appears to be in a PCI slab. The seller however has made an effort to conceal the grade on the slab. I don't really care because I am buying a coin, not a number on a slab but it does make me curious about what PCI said.

I was just reading that the red label on a PCI slab was indicative of a problem coin grade. I think the second picture in the latter post shows enough of the bottom of the label to show that it is in a problem red slab. Hmmm. Curious about what it says now. Might be corrosion.

I think this is the first time I've seen a slabbed coin offered without showing what the label grade and description are. Seems kind of shady in a clumsy way.

No background in grading these, but the cleaning seems apparent.

There are certain slabs that eBay doesn't accept and that may be why he hid it. Still a nice coin. Not sure of prices on these, especially a details one.
