obvious circulation wear, but is the reverse a greaser reverse? fields are kind of wavy, not flat, when I hold it & shift it around under the light. seems to look greaserish, what do you think?

With moxking on this one. You can see how much Die Deterioration is going on the letters on the reverse. You can see how the letters are flowing outward from all of the die wear. Lots of die flow lines. Just a flat out worn out die past its retirement.

I was going to agree BUT - the S MM is so sharp compared to the rest of the devices!
Did you know that dolphins are so smart that within a few days of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish?

I thought that the MM's for that time period were punched with a separate die?
