Hi I'm new here, I found this in my pocket...

it seems to have three oddities..

1) offset core

2) The rim at the bottom is twice as thick as the rim up top.

3) the rim at the bottom has a thin rim on the outer edge.

Is this a common or rare find?

Thanks.
pic attached showing contrast with another toonie.

acryil, I am as new at this as you are, but you have two different "twoonies". They are not all alike., even if they have the same date. Ask Andre1621, among others. He can give you the answer.

I would say something like this is not rare. Slight off sets are common considering the number and speed of the coins going through the presses.
