How absolutely gut wrenching. I hope the bastages are caught, prosecuted and sentenced to the fullest appropriate punishment possible. My fingers are crossed that that is the case.

Thanks Justin . Appreciate the support. Nancy and I are unharmed and have to say the Police were wonderful . Both the Officer in charge and the Forensics team. Things like this test your resolve , but we will stay positive and starting this morning we start our numismatic journey over. Jack

So sorry to hear this, but relieved you are well. Glad you have some great officials to work with. Let's pray everything gets returned and that these criminals are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Sorry to hear this bad news Jack, it seems to be the case with many dealers getting robbed or there vehicles broke into.
Did the show have video of the floor and Browse tables that could help out in identifying people that are not common at this show and look out of place.
I hope the best for you and your wife and glade your weren't hurt.

sorry to hear, and like other's sentiments I am glad there was no personal injury.
that said, coming from a police (family) background I can tell you (sadly) that even if caught, there will be no justice.
100+ years ago maybe... but these days... sad...

We will recover and move forward . Many , many thanks to all for your kind words and personal messages. Would especially like to thank Stan Wright who got the Message out through CAND and Doug Davis Of the Numismatic Crime network in the USA . Also a special thank you to the RCMP detachment in Chilliwack BC , who continue to gather intelligence . There is a witness who gave the police an excellent description of the suspect. Hopefully the coins and notes will show somewhere one day , highly unlikely but you never know. To all in the lower mainland of BC and other parts of Western Canada , the RCMP say it is a professional gang of Hispanic's targeting anyone in the precious metals trade , ie Jewelers , precious metals dealers , coin dealers and the like. Again to all , thank you for the continued kind words and support directed towards Nancy and myself ! Jack Noble Paccoin

Just read about this now. We met you at a Toronto show not long ago. Sorry this happened to you, but it is probably a good thing that you left everything in your van. If you had moved it all inside right away then potentially you could have become the target/victim. Bad situation, but it potentially could have been worse. I hope only the best for you and hope this won't slow you down! http://canadiancoinnews.com/70k-in-...er-b-c-show/
