I found this 1990 P LMC today and remembered posting about one back this past February. I kept that cent because of its unusual appearance. Glad that I did because I found another one exactly like it. I was told the coin was damaged and it may have been a little grease filled. I was glad for the education but to have two coins with the exact same thing is pretty remarkable. I'll post pics of both for you to see. Pretty cool pair of cents to own. The last two pics are from the one I found back this past February.

That is pretty remarkable. What are the odds?

Not sure but I don't think the odds were very favorable!

They both show signs of damage: flattened. the last date clearly shows the damaged area where the devices have been flattened.

But, it's still very cool, since it happened to another coin. Pretty odd.

I see the same thing Chase, still pretty cool that they both came from the same die. The top of the "1" tells me that.
