I agree! @pep always brings top-shelf coins to this thread. On the other hand, here is a more widely circulated Groschen of the German Duchy of Silesia-Liegnitz-Brieg dated AD 1542:

"If you climb a good tree, you get a push."
-----Ghanaian proverb

"The danger we all now face is distinguishing between what is authentic and what is performed."

Another Hungarian Denar for me. These will dominate my entries for the next couple weeks. As I recall, I bought out someone's entire stock of them many years back when they were selling for just a few bucks each.

Mine and @pepactonius groats differ in the obverse lettering (PRV and PRVS). There is a third variant, PRVSS, which appears to be scarcer than the other two based on populations seen at the WCN auctions.

I really like the positive/negative "Maltese" cross design on your 3 Groschen @tdz.

I'm back to Hungarian Denars for the next few days:

"If you climb a good tree, you get a push."
-----Ghanaian proverb

"The danger we all now face is distinguishing between what is authentic and what is performed."
