Member On Listia Posting Misleading 'Error' Coin

I became a member of Listia a few weeks back. It's a website that's set up like ebay, where there are auctions and things posted to buy now, but instead of using money (minus those who have customers pay shipping) they work on something called xnk. It's basically like a crypto currency, but I don't think you can exchange them for cash.

I've bought several different coins on there, and I was looking through new posts when I came across this guy. There is a member on there by the name crushfresh, and he recently posted a coin he had for sale. It's a 1987 LMC with several parts of it missing due to obvious deterioration, and he has it listed for 7000 xnk, which is alot when you consider that people are selling silver eagles and such for around 3000 to 6000 xnk. He puts 'forging error' in the title and says in the description that it's 'his opinion' that it's an error. He claims it's an error because, and this is the part that kills me..'it has zinc rot which is a forging error because only a few pennies have an overabundance of zinc added in during the mixing process, which causes the coin to rot, therefor it's an error coin' (I paraphrased it.)

Multiple people have tried to explain to him that zinc just does that naturally. He can't seem to understand that. A coin is an error if it is minted that way, there is no 'my opinion'. It was either minted that way or it wasn't. I tried to reason with him and he blocked me because he couldn't handle the fact he was wrong. I believe it's called numismatic fraud when you try to pass coins off for something they are not. He changed the title from 'holy bat man error coin forging error' to 'zombie walking dead memorial edition forging error'. The title in itself, especially claiming to be a walking dead edition coin, is fraud.

His answer for opposition to this is just to be rude and block people. He has a 100% feedback rating, but I know he has diamonds and stuff for sale. Lord only knows if they're real.

If you come across his auctions, I would steer clear. He said this auction was a way to see how the market was for coins before he sold his others. I have no idea what those could be, but I can only assume the worst. I feel that with all the negative comments he's gotten, he will soon come to a rude awakening when no one wants to buy this coin or anything else from him. That type of attitude ruins your reputaion, regardless of ratings.
