not as the 1952 I posted earlier these on I think it happened after it left the mint diameter it's 18mm and weights 1.8 gr

Yeah, I think it had an acid bath - probably trying to clean it and didn't know what to use.

Sure looks like an acid coin.
In any case it wasn't done at the mint so PMD

Yep, you are correct. It was dipped in acid. It's Post Strike Damage.
