1897 French IndoChina - Sapeque The value on this one confuses me a bit. on the reverse bottom shows the value - (2 horizontal bars) NUmista at the top on the listing (above hte images of the coin just says "Sapeque) In the features dialog box gives it a value of 1 Sapeque. but the translation under the Reverse descriptions says it translates to ("Worth 2") {shr}

Nice Sapeque, Dearborn. Merriam-Webster: French sapèque, from Malay sa pek, sa pe, from sa "one" + pek, pe pie "currency"

ok I can understand that so far. but why does the coin have the symbols translating for "worth two", if it is a 1 Sapeque?
