It's probably the surprise circulation coin that was mentioned before:

Looks like the big announcement was 2019 W quarters.

So they're going to mix 10 million -W quarters in to circulation by putting them in bulk bags of -P and -D quarters. I sure hope that the mint provides collectors another option for getting them such as the mint set or rolls. Otherwise, we're likely looking at lower quality -W quarters for completing our collections.

It would be nice to see them in the circulating set.

It sure seems like the mint is lagging on updating the product schedule. We currently only have actual dates on items that will go on sale within a little over a month.

I am still trying to catch up with all new products this year that are being produced by the mint.
Thank you all for keeping us updated.

My concern is: Is our USM going the way of the RCM and RAM?

I hope not.

For what it is worth, I have set a record in 2019 for US Mint products purchased. This breaks the one set in 2015 when the C&C sets were released.

I definitely am going to eclipse my previous record (also 2015 FWIW) by the time the year is over. Money-wise I'm currently only a few dollars shy of my personal high in 2014 when the Kennedy coins came out. That number is going to get shattered by 12/31.

In all honesty I hope they do to an extent. I think the wide subject matter the RCM does is a positive, they just charge way way way to much to get it from the mint. The whole different coin finishes thing is nice to an extent, but it's kind of sad that's the best we can do for variety. There's definitely a middle ground sweet spot between the US mint and the RCM for product variety and pricing that would be perfect if they could get into

That was a good year. The Kennedy coins and the FDR C&C set as well.

I do not disagree.

My concern is that they do hit that sweet spot, the US Mint products will continue to appeal to me, and my other two endeavors (the graded Ike set and the last seven coins for the Dansco albums) will take even longer to complete.

I guess it is a good problem to have?

There are definitely worse "problems" to have.

Interesting observations, I've never thought about my orders from the Mint in this way. After checking my order history, so far this year I've set records for the most orders placed (6) and the most money spent, but haven't passed my record for the most products ordered (11 in 2017). I know I'll be ordering the NA C&C Set, so that will tie the number of products I bought last year (7), which is also my second highest total. I don't expect to break that record anytime soon (hopefully...).

This is already a concern for me. I've found many things to like with the Mint recently, and that has drained my small coin budget. I'm happy with my purchases, but I'll also be relieved when the ATB series is over in 2021. Then again, as I pointed out in another thread, if the Mint continues with its commemorative dollar and medal sets, they might just take its place in my wallet.

*Edited to fix typo.
