Hello. I found this 2015 penny, and after looking at Wexlers Varieties, think it might be a Doubled Die Obverse. The phrase LIBERTY appears thicker, and there may be some notching. I apologize for my picture quality as well. Please take a few seconds to look this over. Thank you.

Which die number are you comparing it with? It looks normal from what I can see so far.

Hey coop. I'm not really sure which one to compare it to, I just noticed that the devices look thicker than normal. It's hard to see in the pictures but the left branch of the Y in liberty is thicker. At least that's how it appears to me. I'll do some more research. Thank you coop. Any comments are appreciated.

I'm looking at 003, and 009. I'm not too sure. I'll check for DDR real quick too. I also found a Die Marker if it helps. Here is a picture. Thanks to everyone who has responded so far.

Wexlers Dies has a lot of 2015 doubled dies. There are over 30! Give me a few minutes to try to match it up.

That's part of learning. Compare and see. The markers only mean something it the variety is present. So look for the variety first, the marks can confirm die state. (and when I check a variety for die markers I like to find three matching ones) If great images are provided on the web site, I will look at their images to see if I can spot other markers not mentioned. (just to be sure)

At least I make a an avatar for future images that is just for you.
