That line on the reverse looks to be finger feeder damage. There is no doubling on the ear.

The ear isn't doubled. That's pushed over and flattened metal from Post Strike Damage. Those lines on the reverse could be Linear Plating Bubbles.

I don't see any doubling. As said, that line on the reverse above the Memorial could be a die gouge or linear plating bubble on the coin (not a Floating Roof, which is caused by die polishing). The angle of it doesn't seem right for feeder finger damage, but I don't know if that changes often depending on the press setup.

I looked again. You don't have a floating roof, since the 2 arches arw still connected.

I can see what your describing, but do not see two reverse dies clashing. My first thought was a plating issue. Now I'm thinking more in lines of a cup holder effect. Maybe another cent transferred the design or stained it a bit.

The current images is not showing it well enough to make much more out. Thanks, Doug.

The dark color on the coin is a stain. On the ear area there is evidence of the coins plating punctured. Spendable.
