here is a 1963P LMC. nothing remarkable about it - except that there is a raised straight piece of metal in fron of the 3. I am really not sure what I could be. any onpinins are appreciated..

Looks like some debris that was struck onto the coin and moved just a bit as time went by.

I really don't think it is debris on the coin.
It is definitely raised metal.
A die chip seems realistic, but it seems an unusual shape and placement, for a die chip.

Just my opinion.

I mentioned debris as it moved. You can see the outline of where it was at one time. Die chips don't move and are usually raised a lot more that this thin debris.
