The "Y" in LIBERTY - Over polished die?

That area is the target area for clashes. When it is polished a couple more times, then the fields will be reduced making the tapered devices be even smaller in size. Just part of the life of an aging die.

Over Polished die issue. They'll do this to get more life out of the die.
