I was perusing History of Rome by Michael Grant today, and Volusian is not even mentioned, the reign being from a historical standpoint evidently being entirely attributed to his father. Be that as it may, coinage depicting Volusian seems far from being in short supply.

My example seems to have been struck with a reverse die that was in a pretty advanced state. Here's an example where the reverse die was much more fresh:
