CORRECTION!

Boys and girls, this is what happens when you get old.

The date on the coin is an odd number. My apologies. Thank goodness that was the last question.

Any guesses made that are even numbered will be ignored and the guesser will have another guess.

Once the correct date guessed, I will turn myself over to the authorities.

1899!

Man that was a good year.
Spanish rule ended in Cuba, concluding 400 years of the Spanish Empire in the Americas.
Opel Motors opened for business in Germany.
The Great Blizzard of 1899 occurred.
Bayer aspirin was invented.
The paperclip was patented.
Alfred Dreyfus was pardoned in France.
The Bronx zoo opened.
Al Capone was born.
August Anheuser Busch, Jr. was born.
Fred Astaire was born.
Alfred Hitchcock was born.
Jadey was born.

Yep, a lot of stuff happened that year. But there is one thing that did not happen that year. That one thing is, my coin was NOT minted that year.

Unless it's jadey, if he gets it right I'm going to lie and say it was a different coin.

ANOTHER CORRECTION!

You know, maybe I should just disqualify my self and start collecting stamps or cutting out paper dolls. There was a question;"was it minted before 1896?" to which I replied NO.

I'm sad to say the answer was YES, it was minted before 1896. I am right now getting a tattoo of the date on the top of my foot for future reference.

If we want to just scrap this round and someone else can take over , that might be prudent.

I'm retired. I used to own a business, we sold and service electronics. Computers, copiers, printers, TV's, VCR's all kinds of stuff.

I'd do stand up, but I'm too old. I'd have to do sit down.

Don't beat yourself up Joe. You did a superb job of counting the 20 questions, but anybody can get confused when you throw in such advanced concepts as odd/even and greater than/less than. Blame it on the new math.
