Quote: Maybe I'm just incredibly thick, but isn't this true no matter what (depending on whether you include the prime meridian or not)? Well yeah and if you go far enough everything is west of everywhere, but if you were to ask if it was west of the prime meridian everything up to 179°59'59" west would be closer to 0 degrees in a westward direction( from 0) and everything from 179 e would be in an eastward direction based on distance. So for Keith's question everything from 12 w to 167 e is east by distance with 168 degrees east being equidistant and both east and west I suppose.

But for one more example say you are on the west coast of France taking in some rays and some one asks "you in what direction does Poland lie?" would you tell them it was to the west?
Anyway, was this coin intended for circulation primarily south of the tropic of cancer?

1. This coin was minted prior to 1908. 2. This coin was not minted in the vertical strip of land 12 degrees of wide located between the prime meridian and 12 degrees west. 3. This coin was minted after 1600. Hint #1: Just in case anyone cares, an example of this coin is in numista already. 4. This coin was minted after 1763. 5. This coin was not minted in the hemisphere that is bounded by 12 degrees west longitude and 168 degree east longitude and does not include the prime meridian. 6. The country that this coin was minted in touches the Tropic of Cancer.

Thank you, @joecoin, for your non-response that had no hint of sarcasm whatsoever hurr durr. @gincoin, I will not be doing that and @Spence, you pretty much nailed it, I think. It was just a question/concern and thinking about how to make the game better. All is good, folks. Is the coin primarily silver?
