Okay, after joe's previous question, I'm not so clear on this answer:

Quote:
This this coin's issuing country was home to Nikola Tesla. In fact, his name is so recognizable that they named the international airport in Belgrade after him.

The question was simply: is this coin from Serbia? It mentioned nothing about Tesla. This is interesting because Tesla was born in Smiljad, which is in modern-day Croatia and isn't really even that close to Serbia.

When he was born, it was part of the Austrian Empire and went through other transformations including different forms of Yugoslavia. Spence didn't say that Belgrade was the capital, just that the airport there is named after Tesla. However, Belgrade was the capital of Yugoslavia and is the capital of Serbia.

Serbia, Croatia and Yugoslavia all have coins minted after 1934. I might be overcomplicating this, but answer #10 doesn't help.

Thank you for the clarification, Spence. I know it's in the spirit of the topic to make things "roundabout" but sometimes it doesn't work. The answer should not complicate the question.
