No. Quote: Does the name of the issuing country begin with the same letter as its political capital city, while having the word "City" as part of the capital city English name? No. 13/20 FYI: while not infallible, I use Wikipedia as an easy reference for most things such as definitions of continents, country capitals, historical timelines, etc.

Diy89Nurm7 that's a team player move. . Exlax says.... the coin was issued after 1988. We need to nail the country.

Hint!I feel like I need to go back to Q #10. Quote: ...the issuing country...had the name of its European colonizer as part of its official name until gaining independence in years following [1965] Make sure you know which countries meet all the conditions in this statement and which don't before deciding those countries to include or exclude as possibilities based on my answer to the question (no).

Quote: This round is killing me. I'm doing the best I can and as patiently as I can without just telling everyone what the coin is. These overly complex questions with multiple conditions make it very difficult for me to decide how to answer. So, instead of giving away a lot of free information in order to clarify what should be a simple "yes" or "no" answer, I have chosen to be very strict about what the questions are actually asking as worded and I answer in accordance with that. For instance, there are several conditions which my coin must meet in Question #10. One condition does not apply to the country that issued my coin, so I must answer "no" even though other conditions fit. I have to take the question as a whole and give one answer.

Quote: 1965 is the key ,maybe. 1965 isn't the key to anything, it's just the date that the question was referring to.

Quote: This round is killing me. That's the GM's job. Sprue is trying to help, but technically, all he needs to answer is yes or no. I think we need a country list and a direct question on if the country is in said list. We have 7 questions left, he hasn't won yet. We need to put our heads together.

Possible countries before Q10 for Western Hemisphere non-island nations above the Equator:
We probably can exclude Central America if we use the geographical, but non-cultural tie with North America. They are mostly excluded anyway due to Q10 and more recent:
Belize - Formerly British Honduras and gained Independence in 1981 Guatemala - Its political capital is Guatemala City (exclude) El Salvador - 2 word name Panama - Its political capital is Panama City (exclude)
Honduras and Nicaragua could be excluded by the geographical definition of "North America"
In South America, the countries I see completely above the Equator are:
Venezuela Suriname (formerly Dutch Guyana and became independent in 1975, and therefore should be excluded) Guyana (formerly British Guyana and became independent in 1966 - exclude) French Guiana still exists as an administrative part of France proper and uses coins and currency minted in France. I assume that means issued in France, too. Thus, it has 2 words in its official title and has coins from overseas.
All that said, I think we are down to Venezuela (independent from Spain in 1823) unless there are "technicalities" yet to be applied.
As for the technicality in answering Q10, one could rightfully question whether Venezuela is truly free following the Constitution of 1999 that brought Chavez to power and the succession of autocratic leaders. However, Q10 references independence from another nation after 1965 and should "technically" not disqualify Venezuela on that basis even though the level of personal freedom today is questionable.
Since I have yet to win the lottery, I will add that I could be wrong, too....
With that said, I would like to ask Spruett001 if the coin in question was issued by Venezuela?
Stay well, Diy89Nurm7

It's all about location. And right now WE are lost Technical, Central America is in North America. So I think that takes us to Africa. But who knows . Or am I the only one lost
