You might think it would get easier when you know the country. But not with keith. You've just been removed from my Christmas Card list. Nasty GM...nasty. .

I think it's either just from Hungary or Transylvania. Can we take this at face value and forget about Transylvania....I say yes...we need a break.

I don't like the wording of this one. The way some of these coins have a multi year mintage range ie. 1655-1672, but are not individually dated for these years, leaves the high and low end of this question open. A coin may have been minted from 1643-1651 and still get a yes answer, but is not what was intended. Same for the top end, 1672-1680 gets a yes. It's the word "between" that messes this up. If we use "before" or "after" we set a point, not a range. Then it's up to keith to answer correctly.

I think the best bet for our last 3 questions is to nail the date. Forget about the denomination until we start guessing. The denomination may be exposed when we narrow down the number of coins.

Was this coin minted before 1662?

..."inclusive"....hmmm....shall we take that as the coin needed to be struck in 1656, 1657 and 1658....all 3....remember....inclusive.....

I have a coin in mind that fits this criteria. It's date is displayed, so we would have to guess the correct year.

I figured that choice would half the amount of years we had to choose from.
I was thinking it might have been 1659, but that just got blown out of the water.
