I won this Ike on Great Collections a few weeks ago. The RPM on this one (WRPM-003) presents with a very subtle notch at the top of the vertical bar of the D mint mark. I couldn't capture it adequately, so I decided to e-mail my images to Brian Vaile for his assessment. He compared mine with his discovery coin, and it seemed to be a match. That resulted in a first generation red DIVA sticker for the slab (ANACS MS64), for which I am most appreciative. Brian also sent this one in to ANACS for attribution before it found its way to GC. Then, I decided to send it to Ray (@rmpsrpms) all the way out on the west coast for 2D imaging and 3D rendering. This was a labor of love, so to speak, to satisfy my curiosity. I wanted to see how well the RPM would show itself after Ray got a hold of it, and a subtle variety like this one seemed like a prime candidate for the service. Being that it's also a Friendly Eagle makes it even better. The images are incredible to say the least. It looks like I'll have other projects for Ray in the future.
