Another coin I pulled from the collection I received. Not a super nice RPD, but it's another RPD for my collection! For a low grade coin, it has decent eye appeal.

Nice find. These mid-1860s Indians are well known for some remarkable re-punched dates.

Yes. I really want some of the more dramatic 1864 RPDs, but cherrypicking then has proven difficult.

With L FS-2305? With L FS-2301? With L FS-2302? Those are the three that come to mind.
FS-2305 has a very nice spread, but the FS-2301 is a stronger re punch.

They are, RPD-001 cross references as S-1. I prefer Indianvariaties.com id numbers as they are easier to follow
