Edit: I was certain I found 2 but the second turned out to be gunk the following one is the legit dot.

So as you guys know I happened to finally get rolls of pennies locally after a very long search and once I did I realized I'm pretty sure I stumbled upon someones old hoard.

Out of about 14 1945's they were all the same accept for this one witch has this dot (witch is raised and round) in between the left leaf on the reverse.

I don't know if it is just a die error or intentional, all I do know is a real dot but how or why I have no clue.

They say coin roll hunting is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get.... I think it went something like that, I was too busy looking at coins.

This is my very first error coin I found that got me hooked.

Here are some clearer photos of the Dot, as you can see its coming out of the coin, I even tried to push it down with my fingernail and it did not budge, easily felt with a nail.

Die chip is the cause.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Thanks for the reply DBM, after doing some looking on Coins and Canada I see what you mean by a die chip. I will 2x2 it and keep it for my collection.
