Recently purchased this early type Indo Sassanian Drachm. Thought I'd share it..

I've been looking for this type with the Asiatic eye for a while...

As far as I can make out it sits somewhere in @Finn235 1.1.8 series...I think?....Paul

That's what I am thinking. For comparison, Finn's 1.1.8 coins 2 and 6 below.

Nice pickup! I was eyeing that one as well - very interesting necklaces on the attendants for this late in the series.

1.1.8 is correct. I've seen a handful of the type up on Ebay as of late.

Thanks guys!.....

@Finn235...Yes I went for this one because of a few features....The general portrait is quite well struck and I particularly liked the eye and beard features.... The double necklaces of the attendants is a nice feature but also shows the moon and sun above......Would like to say how your series breakdowns are really easy to follow as you can see from Bob's and my own responses.....Great work Thanks...Paul
