This isn't really a coin question. I was CRH again and saw on Coppercoins that there were cross references with Crawford's Coins and I couldn't find his site. Does anyone know the link? Thanks.

He passed away a few years ago. So it may no longer exist?

Crawford's site went down years ago and I cannot find any archive of it.

From what I can tell, his CD Book titled "A Detailed Analysis of Lincoln Cent Varieties 1959 - Present" is all that remains of his files.

This site of his was archived a handful of times from 2003-2008, but the site wasn't changed even once during that time.

Paste this into archive.org:
http://home.sc.rr.com/dievarieties/

Its just a site to sell his book like I mentioned before, I don't think Crawford posted his listings online like Wexler does. Unless Crawford has another site that I can't find.

And look who I found on the wayback machine on Wexler's oldest archive! Coop's on there:

Paste this into archive.org and go to the oldest archive:
http://doubleddie.com/12201.html

EDIT:
I do have Crawford's CD Book and some of his "Die Variety News" issues. I'd share the listings it but I'm not sure of the legality of that. It seems that he never intended them to be public, he charged money for it.

Although, I believe I have posted pics of three listings from the CD Book at least a year ago. They were 1971 DDOs that are not listed anywhere else. I don't have time to go digging up the post again right now, I'm on break at work.

Not that one. Coop, you were credited for a 1998-D 1c DDR on March 28, 2009. Apparently there used to be a "New Listings" page, and that coin of yours is on that page in the oldest archive of Wexler's site.

Whether he charged for it or not, it's still copyrighted for the life of the author + 70 years. The copyright would have passed with his estate, does anybody know who that would have been?

Just realized how poorly that is phrased. I never intended/don't intend to publicly share his book anywhere. Just saying that I would like to help CoinHunter find the listings but he'd have to get the book himself, I can't share it for those legal reasons you mention. I don't want people to take that the wrong way.

I have incredible respect for Crawford and the work he has done and I'd hate to hurt his work and whoever owns the rights to it now. It's so unfortunate that his work in this hobby has been all but wiped from the internet, only existing as a cross-reference on some sites and through a few archived webpages. All that's left of his listings (as far as I now, I have seen no other mention of another source anywhere) is a handful of scattered CDs (which is likely only a fragment of his listings) that are extremely hard to find. I saw one on eBay for $50 a year or two ago and bought it in a heartbeat.

ALSO:

Did a bit more research and found dvnmagazine.com was Crawford's main website from 2009 until at least 2011 (Archives from 2012-2014 seem to be blank, and in the 2015 archive the site is gone, in 2016 the domain was bought again and it is now a celebrity plastic surgery news site.). A lot of good info can be found through archive.org of that site.

My copy of the CD also includes Die Variety News issues 1-5 and 12-25 and supplements 1-9. Using the archive there is at least one more die variety news issue (26). Is #26 lost?
