Last of the large cents. How do you rate this specimen?

Too bad about the corrosion...

In hand, I don't see anything I'd taker to be corrosion or environmental damage. The one irregularity I do note is that on the reverse the leaf underneath the "0" in the date doesn't seem to be fully struck up, so instead of a crisp, concave appearance, it's somewhat mushy and filled in towards the tip.

Not enough red for an MS-62. I feel safe at MS-60. But if you watch eBay listings you'll know criteria for MS are changing and I'm blown away to see some MS-64 Browns.

I can see why it might look to be so based upon the photo, which was taken of the coin in its "as found" state (I hadn't mentioned that it did after all come out of a shop's "cull" bin, and as such set me back a whole 50 US). But that appearance can actually be attributed to just some dirt/gunk/grunge deposited there. Below I've posted a later photo of that same area after a brief soak in nothing more than distilled water. Might yet merit additional bath time, but based on the initial results I don't think there's any permanent damage that'd cause the coin to be "details" annotated.
