OK - what about these 2 pieces :
Both from the town of Holnis.....

The last one has a pictorial plebiscite stamp on it. Face of 1m has been covered by the 10pf valued stamp.....
but the back still states as 1m:

The black, white and red colours represent the old flag colours of the old German Empire

I have just created a flip-book on my notgeld informational website. I hope you like it (give it a minute or 2 to load.....:

Please let me know if you find it useful to understand the face values. (100pf & 1m are the same value of course)

@jbuck - thanks for the confirmation. Hopefully other people might write in and tell me it is useful - it then keeps me going.
I heard a chap once tell another person that a milliarde was the same as a million. A different person also said that a 'millionen' was the same as a millarde but not a million..........
Clarification is now out there in pictorial view!

That cardboard coin/notgeld is great notgeldman

I quite like the vignette on the reverse of this note from my small collection,
50 pfennig Stadt Pforzheim (1920)

@ScotsGreyhound - yes, I agree - this is a lovely looking notgeld piece. I've no idea who the lady is - do you? The cherub is handing her jewellery necklaces to try on it appears. It is a 'verkehrsausgaben' issue. The catalogue states that only E,F,G & H issues were made. It was a piece issued by itself and not with other face values.

No idea who the lady is notgeldman, a nice artistic vignette though, maybe an allegory of a famous German in folklore?
Pforzheim issued a 5 & 500 mark notgeld too, as well as a 25 pfennig.

Super. I have looked through my scans here and can only find this other piece - a verkehrsausgaben issue from 1917:
