This piece from Rudolstadt comes from a set of 3 which all feature the swaztika:



The reverse of the note shows 'German Michael' fighting the many-headed Hydra......symbolising Germany's many enemies.

Here are 4 'plebiscite' notes, forming a complete set, issued in Lyck:



They state: 'This town money was issued to commemorate the 11th July, 1920, when in this town of Lyck 8,339 voted for Germany and only 7 for Poland.'

Sorry about the difference in picture sizes, but here are 2 'uncut' pieces of the blue 5pf pieces from the set above, but also with no serial numbers too! The sheet can be seen as a scarce piece - highly desirable to a notgeld collector!

Another interesting 'plebiscite' issue, this time from Koenigshuette:



The German word seen on the note 'VOLKSABSTIMMUNG' translates as 'PLEBISCITE'......a people's vote
