This one isn't all that amazing, and 1946-S certainly had some issues, but really hadn't seen one quite this wiped out before.

Still fairly nice for a Wheatie. These stronger ones don't pop up too much.

@TB, a nice pick-up. What do you think is going on with the rim at about 3 o'clock on the rev? Is that just an old hit or some weird cud-like thing?

Nice find but I was wondering the same thing as John1.
(Maybe even a tapered planchet as well or just circulation?)
