I'll bite. Yes, a woody.

Having said that, is the reverse rotated properly? Woody 'grain' should be consistent through the planchet.

It looks like it above the date (which matches the direction of the graining on the reverse).

The lighter area on the obverse on the portrait makes me wonder. It looks linear like I would expect but seems to fade in and out depending on the height of the raised area of the device. It is reminding me of a topographical map that doesn't seem to be consistent with a woody.
