In large lots of coins I bid on, quite real coins like Heritage Auctions etc, you see things like this. Are these like 18th century items? It is hard to make an offer on a lot if I don't understand what I am looking at. Thanks in advance.

Although highly collectible you still have to know your subject well to risk spending significant money.

IN my experience,
there are more copies and fakes of Paduans than there are of genuine Paduans.
