1967 Uncirculated 1 Cent, Struck Through String/Thread On Obverse

Going through some coins I picked up from a local flea market and I found this 1967 1 Cent that has been struck with either string or thread between the obverse die and the planchet.

It was in a 2x2 marked "UNC" and I removed it for the photos.

As a strike thru, it's a small minor one, they need to be huge to really add value.

Forsure! I completely agree,
although the value is not what I am after, finding errors and varieties are rewarding enough for me. I just think it is nice to see some modern errors that aren't PMD or variety related, also helps show new memebers/collectors what a real strike through error should look like, more like an educational reference as it is still a genuine error.

Probably struck through a small piece of wire.
