Like hfjacinto, I recently submitted for the first time to ANACS. I ended up submitted a second submission following this one and will post results when it arrives. I feel hfj covered the process/costs, so I wont go over that, more-so the results and my opinions.

CHOOSING COINS: These are not typically coins I would send off to a TPG, but given the low cost of ANACS promotion, having never used them, the cost I have into the coins themselves, and a little to much Covid free time, I decided to give it a go.
All coins I submitted were either cherrypicked/picked up cheap, lot/roll finds, or sentimental.

I also tried to get a small variety out there, rather than send all MS, all LWC, all Buffs, all Morgans, etc. I did evaluate each coin before submitting and had an idea of how I would grade, and I will notate that below with the pictures.

RESULTS: Turnaround time: was about 5 days quicker than quoted. They posted grades promptly and shipped promptly.
Customer service: did call and speak with them a couple times and they were great to work with. By far the easiest of the 3 big TPGS, and definitely the most willing to help/assist.
Grades: Overall I was happy with the results. There was one coin that I felt was overgraded ( Franklin half) and one I felt was pretty drastically undergraded (WLH). On the rest, I would say they were pretty spot on, and conservative on a few (which I will notate).

Would I use them again? Definitely! I will still stick with PCGS for big ticket items, but for the rest, I would certainly use ANACS again. I'm not sure I would use the standard services that often, but would jump on any of the promotions they run, as I feel it is well worth the minimal costs going into it!

Ill be posting pics throughout the next day with images of results (again, forgive my sub par picture taking). Hopefully they're good enough to post results.

EDIT: all images have been posted.

I feel both of these were graded pretty accurately.

I feel all of these were graded fairly, but I did think they were a tad generous on the RD designation on the 42-S given the spot on the reverse. (28-S found in a LWC bag from my LCS and 42-S was cherrypicked for $4.00).

I feel they were conservative on the 35 DDR, I had this one at a VF20. Agreed with the 1913 D.

I thought the 1937 was undergraded, was shooting for MS66 on this one.
I actually submitted two 57-D FS-501, both came back MS-63 which I feel was fair. (Both were found in lots I picked up over the years, not labeled as such).

Was REALLY hoping for a P-01 on this one. This was actually my grandpas pocket piece and then I carried it for a number of years. Finally retired it a few months ago.

I feel the WLH was the farthest off. I had this one at AU-58 to MS-62, was the most surprised with this one. (picked this up for $20).
I had the Franklin at MS-64 tops, I was confident in the FBL designation. They were a bit generous on this one.

And last, I feel they were a bit conservative on this one as well. Pics don't really do it justice, but there's a decent amount of luster hiding there. I had this at AU-53, shot at AU55.

TY2020 VERY Nice!!

Looking at the coins you submitted, I agree with your assessment. I do think that the Ben was pretty fair, I see no marks though the spots kill it for me. The only one I would like to look at in more details was the Walking Liberty. I think it should be slightly higher. BUT they look great!!

If I ever run out of notes, I'm going to complete the IHC, looking at cost, it's cheaper for me to buy raw and get them graded myself and I would use Anacs, whatever issues they might have had in the past, they are doing an excellent job now.

Thanks!

Do you have a thread already with the in progress IHC set ? I agree, they have gotten better lately. I may try to get some better close ups of a few this week (WLH, Buff, and WQ).

Decided to do the same with my AU-MS Buff set I'm building. Will be submitting what I have of those so far next week for the current promo. Curious how they do with those. A lot of what I've seen with ANACS and Buffs has been all over. I feel like they tend to undergrade weak strikes ( which we know the Buff series is riddled with), Any weakness, primarily on the reverse with the high points is attributed to wear, rather than strike weakness. But we'll see how it goes.
