On the obverse of this beautiful coin, we see Antiochus VII Euergetes (nickname Sidetes), the ruler of the Hellenistic Seleucid Empire from 138-129 BC.
The reverse shows a standing eagle on prow of galley, palm over shoulder. A stunning coin from 134 BC. For more coins like this, just click the link:
