Quote:What will this do to the price of 19th Century Morgan dollars and 1922-1935 Peace dollars? Price crash? Probably a temporary price boost if anything when people realize they can get a ms64 morgan for cheaper than a 2021 morgan

Sorry, I'm a little late to this party. Does anyone know when they go on sale? Thanks

I suggest waiting a couple of years. These sets will invariably be dumped on eBay in the future for dimes on the dollar.

Yeah that one. The dimes cost 205 at the time with gold ~1250/oz. With a mintage of 125k, I really thought they'd settle closer to spot. Also didn't count on spot going up so much.

1/10 an ounce of 99.9% pure gold for $225 is not too bad.

I was lucky and my local coin dealer said he would sell me the 1/2 oz Gold Walking Liberty for melt (melt at the time was $2000) it did have a small little imperfection on on the face but cant complain about it too much. I still want to find the Gold Mercury dime though.
