I'm not sure if anyone has seen Lane-Macklem $20s so far, but I found one recently. This one has the FLA prefix.

Great find. Thus far, this signature combination has not been reported on CPMF.

Nice find Nameless. Thanks for sharing. I believe that this the first reporting of Lane-Macklem on the $20. It looks like there were no Wilkins-Macklem $20 printed.

Quote: Great find! Thanks for sharing @Nameless. Can you tell us what region (where) in Canada it was found? That $20 note was found in the Calgary area. That said, curious to see if these notes will become common or if they will be short lived regarding how many they've printed.

Quote: That $20 note was found in the Calgary area.. Thanks for the update (no need to rush out to the bank & make huge withdrawals then). Obviously a few have trickled out to the major distribution centres. Quote: That said, curious to see if these notes will become common or if they will be short lived regarding how many they've printed. The only potentially uncommon note will be the FZT Lane Macklem change over (if FZT is the change-over point). That would leave 2M for the Lane Macklem FZT prefix (if that's where the change-over occurs). Won't be scarce but definitely tougher than a full prefix. Then there should be full (10,000,000) runs of: FZU, FZV, FZW, FZY & FZZ. FLA is the next prefix combination so expect FLB, etc. The Lane Macklem $5 has 7 prefixes so far (& unlikely to go beyond INS). Wilkins Macklem $10 were 6 prefixes long so I doubt that Lane Macklem $20 will be more than 10 prefixes. But that would be anywhere from 80-100,000,000 notes so they (Lane Macklem notes) should be quite common. FLA could be the last prefix so it is definitely worth holding onto until we know.

Rogers/Macklem 2018 $10 notes are in circulation and will be another short run with a confirmed low # of 8190000 similar albeit more plentiful than the FFE Wilkins/Poloz with an unconfirmed high of 854999.
I have also managed to find a few Lane/Macklem $5s INN & INR from ATMs.
Happy hunting and keep your eyes open!

Since I have a stack of lane macklem ink 5s I'm going to guess I'm on the wrong side of the changeover. I also have found ind wilkins poloz and hcm macklem poloz but am guessing wrong signatures. My only hope is the 20 fzt wilkins poloz but since I have one will guess its also on wrong side of changeover.

Quote: @walk2dwater: Thanks for posting this information here -No problem @redlock (like my NC site, its my pleasure/aim to help out fellow collectors) Just a few observations (if past experience observations are worth anything). We predicted (correctly now as it turns out) that FZT would be a change-over prefix for the $20 since collectors only reported notes that far. It was too premature to definitively predict this, but I would not be surprised if the $5.00 change-over prefix is INS since were are currently seeing the Lane-Macklem & it should only last for about 6 prefixes. Back to the $20: its interesting to see the Lane-Macklem signature show up on the FLA note (above) & there are 9 submissions for the FZZ prefix & 1 for FZV. I doubt that the Lane-Macklem $20 will go more than 10 or 12 prefixes (they tend to produce a lot more TWENTIES than any other denomination so I'm doubling the prefixes compared to the FIVES). It's all speculation of course but I think we should see the new Rogers Macklem signature show up on both the FIVE & TWENTY sometime in the near future (unless the BoC surprises us with the new vertical FIVE series they promised years ago & we see the signature on that).

I left out a couple short prefixes (which are not technically signature change-overs) but since I added the $20 M-C BSW short prefix, I will add these today:
2012 FIFTY: Mcklem-Carney AMK (SHORT below 0.27M)
2012 ONE HUNDRED: Mcklem-Carney EKZ (Likely SHORT 9.3-9.9M)
